
Balancing pH ~~
Everything in life is about balance ~ Yin / yang, acid / alkaline balance in the body etc.
Our pH levels in the body for normally bodily functions should be between 7.35 and 7.45. However acidic foods and drinks, emotions and stress can make the pH levels dip below 7.35. Here are some ways to increase the pH:
~ Greens powders in freshly squeezed vegetable juice - this is alkalizing and nutrient-rich. Also oxygenated water is great as well
~ Lemon water
This is very alkalising, even though before it reaches your stomach it is acidic.
~ Vegetables like spinach, brussels, broccoli and artichoke are the most alkalising vegetables. Eat plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables and a diet high in plant based protein
~ Herbal Teas
Avoid Beer, coffee and soft drinks!
Uncertain where your pH levels are, you can buy a pH litmus test paper from your pharmacy and test by dipping in saliva to read the results. Headaches, fatigue, tense muscles, joint pain, is a sign you are too acidic.
