We orginated in the belly of a Star

Meditation

A beautiful way to connect with the source of life energy (you may like to call this spiritual energy, God) is meditation to still the mind - with each breath, you can breath in peace, love and joy and imagine being in the presence of source.

* Find a comfortable position sitting down or lie down. In general, it is better to sit, for lying down is a mental cue to sleep. Keep your spine straight to allow the "kundalini" (life force, spiritual energy) to flow evenly throughout your energy field and physical body.

* Make your intention clear. You are connecting with the Source.

* Give yourself the mental or verbal cue of how long the meditation is to be. This may vary day to day.

* Quiet your mind and settle your body. How? Focus on a single thought, sound, image, or feeling. A single thought or sound might consist of more than one word - as in a mantra - but said or thought over and over tends to bring the mind into a singular focus. Focusing on breathing can quiet the mind and settle the body.

* Move Into The Silence. Eventually you will be able to do this. It may be for only a short period at first, then it will become extended periods of time. You may find you "fall asleep". Actually, this is an "unconscious state". All is well. You are "doing it right". Were you asleep? Not if you made your intention

After a while when you feel so connected with source you can ask questions and get answers. Sometimes the answers come quickly, sometimes they don’t. The most important thing is to still the mind and reconnect.

Love

Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never actually shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting, or laugh with you when you make a fool out of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather, they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy, or competition, but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song, or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid, it’s like being young again. Colors seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where, before, it was infrequent, or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day always helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind, or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soulmate who will remain loyal until the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.

Make it Happen


Who doesn't have things that they want to make happen now. Sometimes it takes bravery to step forward, and reach for the goals. It's easy to get distracted and busy with the routine of the day and to stay in the bubble rather than go for it.

Loving Yourself first ~

There are so many times that we think we want love but when we actually think about it, we're not completely in love with all of ourself.
A good exercise is to ask the friends around you what they think are the qualities they love about you. You may be surprised with what they say, as they see you without judgement.

Be Happy!!.

So many people say when this is over, or I’ve finished this, then I’ll focus on being happy. Why wait? Your life isn’t waiting. Whatever it is that you do should add to your happiness. If it’s not adding to your enjoyment why are you doing it?

The reflex answer is, “I have to do .............” Truth is you don’t have to do anything. You do the things you have to because they lead you to something you want. You got to work, not because you have to, but because you desire the paycheck.

Instead of saying you have to go to work, honor that you go to work because the outcome brings happiness to your life. Most importantly start eliminating the things that do not make you happy and add more of the stuff that does. Do it now! Start today.

Finding balance



Balancing pH ~~
Everything in life is about balance ~ Yin / yang, acid / alkaline balance in the body etc.
Our pH levels in the body for normally bodily functions should be between 7.35 and 7.45. However acidic foods and drinks, emotions and stress can make the pH levels dip below 7.35. Here are some ways to increase the pH:

~ Greens powders in freshly squeezed vegetable juice - this is alkalizing and nutrient-rich. Also oxygenated water is great as well

~ Lemon water
This is very alkalising, even though before it reaches your stomach it is acidic.

~ Vegetables like spinach, brussels, broccoli and artichoke are the most alkalising vegetables. Eat plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables and a diet high in plant based protein

~ Herbal Teas
Avoid Beer, coffee and soft drinks!

Uncertain where your pH levels are, you can buy a pH litmus test paper from your pharmacy and test by dipping in saliva to read the results. Headaches, fatigue, tense muscles, joint pain, is a sign you are too acidic.

Happiness for today

Collect Moments Not things

The truth is, this world at times is chaotic, tragic, and unexpected.  As a result, there is a certain numbness that has swallowed many people who feel they don’t have a purpose, or who are forever unsatisfied. Some chase happiness as if it is made of new cars, money, power, shopping malls, or fancy homes. Unfortunately the raw, emotional act of being “present” is cast aside, and people forget what it means to be in the moment. It’s incredibly hard these days to filter out the bullshit and narrow down what’s real. Daily life that involves deadlines, schedules, and little free time to actually just “be” has put people at high levels of stress. Time becomes just numbers on a clock, rather than the here and now. That’s why it is unbelievably important to know what you value- to recognize those people, places, or experiences that you care about. To put those things first that you hold close to your heart. If you have a chance to reflect on your life before you leave this world, what will you be thankful for? As the saying goes, you most certainly won’t wish that you spent more time at the office.


Take the time to laugh, grow, love, and explore. And never waste an opportunity to tell the people you care about how much light they bring into your life.
